Fredrico, Jr., Styles Dir, Mgr, RC

Before finishing high school I knew the profession I wanted to enter into. I chose to attend Vogue Beauty Academy in Albuquerque where I joined and won many school competitions as a student. Upon graduating from Vogue I was asked by Rusk International to join their team as a platform artist which involved traveling and teaching other stylists throughout the United States at major hair shows and seminars. I made the decision to join Fredrico (my father) and assist him for the next 9 months. By working as an apprentice, I not only learned many different and valuable techniques from him but I also managed Fredrico's Too hair salon, learning management skills as well.

I now hold the position of styles director for Fredricos which gives me the responsibility of making sure that our staff is always current in their styling and cutting techniques, as well as educating them on all areas of new methods being introduced into the styling profession. It is also my job to see that they understand what each product does for a client and why we have chosen that particular one. In order to accomplish this, I attend advanced training seminars in Dallas, Texas at the Toni & Guy Hairdressing Academy. I have also studied under James Morrison of London and have brought many of their artistic teaching teams to our salon for hands-on-training.
